I bought the Mirka sander well over a year ago. Previously owned two FxxxxTool sanders and one repaired under warranty (warranty not honoured). I saw the Mirka sander at the Maleny Wood show pre-Covid and would recommend this to anyone who would like a brushless, light sander, particularly as I have more time now that I have retired, and less strength to hold a heavy sander for hours at a time. The Abranet disks are also a bonus -- I prefer them to the Galaxy, but they are slightly more expensive.

I love woodworking. My new Mirka sander is the best saner I’ve ever had. Wish I bough it 40 years ago. Fits like a glove in my hand, leaves no marks, light and goes all day. No vibration through my hand. Combined with Mirka vacuuming it is dustless which means I can work inside even sanding plaster with no mess.
