At Mirka Australia (Best Abrasives), we prioritise fast, reliable delivery so you can keep working without delays. Every order is processed locally, with stock held in our Sydney warehouse—no drop shipping, no unnecessary wait times. 

Dispatch & Order Processing 

  • Orders are dispatched every business day (Monday–Friday) 

  • Orders placed before 12pm (AEST) are typically dispatched the same day 

  • Orders placed after 12pm will be dispatched the next business day 

  • For urgent orders, we recommend selecting Express Shipping at checkout or contacting our team directly 

Delivery Timeframes (Australia) 

Estimated delivery times from dispatch: 

Standard (Parcel Post) 

Same State: 2–4 business days* 

Interstate: 3–6 business days* 

Express Post 

Same State: 1–2+ business days* 

Interstate: 1–3+ business days*

Shipping Costs 

  • Shipping rates are currently flat rates (except for bulky items)

  • Both Standard and Express options are available 

  • We continuously optimise our logistics to offer competitive and fair shipping rates 

  • Bulky items are also charged at flat rates*

Sustainable Packaging 

As part of Mirka’s commitment to sustainability, Mirka Australia (Best Abrasives) actively reduces packaging waste: 

  • Orders are shipped using recyclable, plastic-free materials wherever possible 

  • We reuse cardboard and paper packaging to minimise environmental impact 

Some Mirka products may still include protective plastic packaging from the manufacturer, which we do not remove to ensure product integrity. 

Damaged or Lost Shipments 

We take care to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. If something goes wrong: 

  • Inspect your order upon delivery 

  • If items are damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days at customerservice.au@mirka.com 

  • Please include your order number and clear photos of the damage 

If damage is confirmed: 

 We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost, including shipping 

 For issues unrelated to transit damage, please refer to our Return Policy.
