Product security report
As of 4 March 2026, the Australian Government’s Cyber Security (Security Standards for Smart Devices) Rules 2025, made under the Cyber Security Act 2024, requires manufacturers of relevant connectable products to provide clear and accessible information on how security issues can be reported. In accordance with these requirements, Mirka provides a dedicated process for reporting potential security vulnerabilities in our products. This ensures that security issues can be identified, assessed, and addressed in a timely and transparent manner.

Minimum Security Update Periods
Our minimum support period is five years after the production date. The production date is stated on the marking plate on the tool as month/year.
