Mirka Abranet Ace 150mm Ceramic Discs are engineered for superior performance in demanding sanding applications. These discs feature a unique net construction combined with ceramic grains, providing a fast and efficient cut, especially on hard materials like hardwoods (e.g., beech and oak), composites, and various solid surface materials.

Features

  • Dust-free with Mirka sanding system
  • Clog resistant
  • Long lasting
  • For use on many applications
  • For hand sanding or machine sanding
  • Optimized net construction and ceramic grains for longer use

When paired with a Mirka DEROS and dust extractor, Abranet Ace affords the user a virtually dust free sanding experience. However, since the entire surface of the disc facilitates dust extraction, Abranet Ace can be used to augment the capabilities of any random orbital sander or sanding block that uses air inlets to extract dust.

These discs are also available in 50 Packs.

Mirka Abranet Ace Abrasive Discs 150mm are for the Mirka Deros Sanders.

Mirka Abrasive Discs feature a hook and loop back making it easy to attach to your sander.

Mixed Grits:

The coarse box contains 2 discs of each of the following grits (10 discs in total): P80 | P120 | P180 | P240 | P320.

The fine box contains 2 discs of each of the following grits (10 discs in total): P400 | P500 | P600 | P800 | P1000.

Never tried the ceramic discs before. Super impressed. Used the 400’s and it gave me the perfect finish to complete my table top.

Small guy gets expensive results

Out performs anything on the market. To take a piece of timber from raw sawn state to polished product is quicker than anything else I have used. Time saved is money earnt and this product earns.

Abranet versus Galaxy sanding disks

I have been through a couple of boxes of both disks. The Galaxy disks don't let as much dust through compared to the net disks, but the end result is much the same. I mainly use the lower grits (80, 120 and 150), and for finishing, 180 or just over 200. Other than wood, I also do a bit of welding and the Abranet disks get a second life for a bit of hand sanding. I am prepared to pay the extra for Abranet, particularly if you are going to sand for hours at a time with a vacuum attachment (and don't need a mask).
