The Mirka Glass Sanding Kit is a complete solution for restoring clarity to glass surfaces and tackling minor scratches. Designed for use on both tempered and non-tempered glass, it’s ideal for architectural, automotive, and marine applications.
This easy two-step process helps you achieve professional results:
Surface Refinement – Abralon discs smooth out imperfections.
Polishing and Final Finish – Using the Felt pad with Polarshine E3, remove haze and restore the smoothness, clarity and brilliant shine of the glass.
For the best finish, work gradually through grits with slow, controlled sanding. Not recommended for car windshields due to optical refraction risks.

Mirka AROS-B is a sensational sander that will save untold time and effort!
I spend hours on manually sanding the curves in the depressions I route in my charcuterie boards as there's just no other way to do it, using the AROS-B sander I can now do a full board in around 20 minutes and then have it ready to oil! I estimate it's saving me at least 3-4 hours per board.
Expensive tool but it reall works fantastic with a lot of grunt, and saves an incredible amount of time and effort! I love it so much a week later I bought the AOS-B as well!
Couldn't recommend this unique sander highly enough for fiddly awkward sanding jobs!
I received my mixed box of 125mm Mirka Galaxy discs from Best Abrasives a little while ago...that stuff is amazing!
I let the 80 grit go on a piece of rough sawn Camphor Laurel and it was smooth in a couple of minutes. Very impressive compared to other brands...I'll be back for more! 🙂

I have tried many brands over the years. Galaxy paper is the best for performance and value. The range of grits means I can chase any smoothness level I need. I use Galaxy paper in support of the hand plane work that I do.

I am a very amateur hobby woodworker, and purchased the galaxy sanding discs based on their appearance - I thought they were mesh discs, when very clearly, by both their description AND their price point, they weren't. They do last longer than the traditional sandpaper discs, but I have become very used to using the mesh discs and so they are not in the same category.
