This pad saver can be used on ANY 6"/150mm sander with a hook-and-loop backing pad. It sits between the abrasive and the backing pad.
As the name suggests, this pad is sacrificial and will protect the velcro hook and the edges of your backing pad.
The pad saver is recommended to be used on any Mirka and non-Mirka sander to maximise the efficiency of dust extraction. With its multiple holes, the pad provides better suction for Abranet mesh.
Bought these pad savers for my Metabo 150mm RO sander. The dust extraction holes match up perfectly.
Really happy with the quality of the hook and loop on the pad, grips really well to the sander and never has the saver come off when changing pads.
Also provides great protection to the sanders backing pad now I have switched over to mesh/net sanding disks.
Absolutely stellar customer service, well above par and enjoyable as much as helpful, and the products are 10/10 - will be back again and again and again…

Mirka AROS-B is a sensational sander that will save untold time and effort!
I spend hours on manually sanding the curves in the depressions I route in my charcuterie boards as there's just no other way to do it, using the AROS-B sander I can now do a full board in around 20 minutes and then have it ready to oil! I estimate it's saving me at least 3-4 hours per board.
Expensive tool but it reall works fantastic with a lot of grunt, and saves an incredible amount of time and effort! I love it so much a week later I bought the AOS-B as well!
Couldn't recommend this unique sander highly enough for fiddly awkward sanding jobs!
I received my mixed box of 125mm Mirka Galaxy discs from Best Abrasives a little while ago...that stuff is amazing!
I let the 80 grit go on a piece of rough sawn Camphor Laurel and it was smooth in a couple of minutes. Very impressive compared to other brands...I'll be back for more! 🙂
