Wood finishing with Mirka

I was impressed on two counts with Galaxy discs. Firstly, the finish on lacquer with 1200 grit was excellent and I only went up to 2000 see if any real difference was apparent and it was. This resulted in a minimal cut and polish to get a great result. Secondly, these discs certainly last longer than any other product I have used.

I received my mixed box of 125mm Mirka Galaxy discs from Best Abrasives a little while ago...that stuff is amazing!

I let the 80 grit go on a piece of rough sawn Camphor Laurel and it was smooth in a couple of minutes. Very impressive compared to other brands...I'll be back for more! 🙂
